Circle is a private digital membership network operated by Shergard (“we”, “us”, “our”) for verified participants within the horse racing and breeding industry.
Circle provides:
- Professional networking
- Industry discussion forums
- Syndicate and ownership collaboration
- Marketplace interaction
- Private member communications
- Industry insights and curated content
Access to Circle is conditional upon acceptance of these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Membership
Membership may be:
- Invite-only
- Application-based
- Approved at our discretion
We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or revoke membership at any time to protect platform integrity.
You confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You operate professionally or commercially within the industry
- Information provided is accurate
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- All activity under your account
- Maintaining password security
- Ensuring staff access (if applicable) is controlled
Account sharing outside your organisation is prohibited.
4. Community Conduct Policy

You agree NOT to:

- Post illegal, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful material
- Use the platform for spam or unrelated promotion
We may remove content or suspend accounts without notice if these rules are violated.
5. Marketplace & Transactions
Circle may allow members to:

- Engage in private negotiations
Shergard is not a party to transactions between members.
We do not:
- Guarantee accuracy of listings
- Verify ownership claims
- Mediate disputes
All commercial agreements are entered at your own risk.
6. Confidentiality & Industry Sensitivity
Given the nature of the racing industry:
- Members must respect commercial sensitivity
- Private messages must not be shared externally without consent
- Screenshots or redistribution of member discussions is prohibited
Breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination.
7. Intellectual Property
All branding, design, content structure, and software related to Circle remain the intellectual property of Shergard.
Members retain ownership of content they post but grant Shergard a non-exclusive license to host and display it within the platform.
8. Data & Privacy
Circle operates in compliance with:

We collect:
- Name and contact information
- Professional details
- Usage data
- Content you upload or post
